Cervical Cytology

A smear is recommended every three years for most women between the ages of 25 and 49, and every five years for those between 50 and 64 years.

Our nurses offer cervical screening appointments daily but if you are having any particular problems it is advisable to make the appointment with a doctor.

If you would like more information about the screening programme or any questions about having a smear please visit: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/cervical-screening/
