Proactive Nurses (Burns Practice)
Our proactive nurses, Katie and Natalie, support housebound patients with long term conditions who are more likely to have an A&E attendance or emergency admissions.
Katie and Natalie act as a link between our practice and many other agencies including social services, hospital consultants and social prescribing – they also provide patients with visits on a regular basis.
Midwife
The Midwife runs antenatal clinics on a weekly basis at our Cantley surgery. Please contact the midwife hub if you need to make contact with your midwife.
District Nursing Team
The Practice has a District Nursing team which gives nursing care to patients who are housebound. Telephone number: 01302 566999.
Practice Management
Sue Greenham (f)
Practice and Finance Manager
Sue has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the practice. She is responsible for all practice operations, contract negotiation, employee management and welfare, health and safety, patient complaints and compliments and maintenance of both sites.
Sue is also responsible for all in-house accountancy.
Bev Alexander (f)
Admin Manager
Bev is responsible for the overall supervision and management of all reception, admin and secretarial staff and associated functions.
Mandi Hardy (f)
Nurse Manager and Practice Nurse
Mandi is responsible for supervision and management of our nursing team.
Additionally, Mandi holds her own clinics twice a week, with a particular speciality in diabetic patients.
Practice Staff
Administration Team
They are often the first person a patient will speak to so they always aim to be friendly, helpful and supportive. Their job can sometimes be very demanding and it is often necessary for the admin team to ask patients questions of a personal nature, in order for them to help patients get the most of the services provided by the practice.
All information regarding patients is dealt with in a very confidential manner. Each member of staff is obliged to sign a confidentiality agreement, that has to be adhered to and disciplinary action would follow should a staff member breach this.
Secretarial Team
Deals with patient referrals, reports and assisting the nursing team in administering clinics.
They are also a vital source of support and information for the doctors.
